We focus on creating a sustainable community forest with 1 million trees together with the peasant community Qquencco (located in the region Cusco, Peru).
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
The second best moment is now.
Where we are at – 20.000 trees
Thanks to the donations received so far, the farming community of Qquencco has planted no less than 20,000 trees, with fair payments for both planting and maintenance. In addition, we have worked together with the community to construct a large water reservoir to ensure proper irrigation for the trees and agroforestry plots.
